Quilter Insulation

Roll Out Attic Insulation

Why Attic Insulation?

90% of Irish buildings lack adequate attic insulation. If your attic doesn’t have at least 12 inches of adequate insulation then most of your household heating is probably escaping. This in turn increases your heating bills and is making it more expensive than it should be to heat your home. A proper amount and application of attic insulation will save you money on your heating bills and keep you and your family comfortable in the cold of the Irish winter.

What we use

For the majority of our attic insulation projects we use a mineral wool, quilt insulation. The quilt insulation is laid in between the joists and over the joists to minimise heat loss.

The two main types of quilt insulation we use are Knauf Earthwool Loft Roll and Isover High Density Metac Roll which can be seen below.

We also realise that not all roofs are the same, or straightforward so we also offer a wide range of  blown and spray foam insulation solutions. On completion of our survey we will inform you of the method we feel will best suit your attic.
